Mini Vinnies
At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, we are proud to have a dedicated team of Mini Vinnies.
Mini Vinnies are children aged 7 to 11 who come together in schools and parishes across England and Wales – and in many other countries around the world – to be part of the St Vincent de Paul Society (SVP). The SVP is a voluntary organisation committed to tackling poverty in all its forms and helping those in need.
At St Joseph’s, our Mini Vinnies meet regularly to pray, discuss and take action to make a positive difference in our school and local community. They work closely with the SVP and our parish community, living out the values of compassion, service and faith.
Our Mini Vinnies are dedicated to helping and supporting those who are most in need and vulnerable. Throughout the year, they follow a seasonal cycle of activities, linking their work to key dates and events in the Church and school calendar to raise awareness and inspire action within our community.
