Local Governing Body of St Joseph's School

St Joseph’s Catholic School is part of the St John Paul II Multi-Academy which includes our primary partners and secondary schools: Holy Cross, St Nicholas, SS Mary and John, SS Peter and Paul, Sacred Heart, The Abbey , St Edmund Campion and Bishop Walsh.

We pray that by working together for our pupils and their families we continue to develop an excellent Catholic Education.

The Governor representatives of St Joseph’s aim to keep all our parents and carers informed of who we are, the various committees we sit on and what we do and give you an insight into the work that goes on in school.

Hopefully, this will give you a better understanding of the role of a ‘School Governing Body ‘ and perhaps some of you might think about volunteering yourself for this stimulating but, unfortunately, unpaid work!

We, as School Representatives, have legal duties, powers and responsibilities delegated from the Board of Directors of the ‘St John Paul II Multi-Academy’ that we must exercise as a body. No Representative can act individually.

If there is anything we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to contact us through the school.

Mr Aaron Bell

Hi my name is Aaron and I became a Parent Governor at St Jo’s 2 years ago as I wanted to support the children and help the school in its mission to deliver a first class education in a safe and supportive environment.
